Subsurface Irrigation

Subsurface irrigation involves burying a network of pipes beneath the soil surface which delivers water directly to plant roots at specific depths below ground level. The system distributes water evenly across large areas while avoiding over-saturation of soil at surface levels.

This type of irrigation is particularly useful in regions with high evaporation rates and frequent droughts. It also helps maintain healthy root systems by delivering steady amounts of moisture without causing damage from excessive watering or drying out periods.

Center Pivot Irrigation

Center pivot irrigation systems are commonly used on large farms and ranches where crops require consistent watering throughout their growth cycle. These systems involve a series of towers mounted on wheels along an overhead pipeline, which rotates around a central pivot point continuously irrigating fields below them.

Center Pivot systems have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their ability to deliver precise amounts of water while reducing overall cost by eliminating inefficient spraying methods and avoiding overuse through wastage or runoff potential issues associated with other types like flood-irrigation practices.
