Miranda Lambert: The Country Music Star Who is Living the Homesteading Dream

Miranda Lambert: A Country Music Star with a Passion for Rural Living and Homesteading

Miranda Lambert is more than just a country music superstar. She’s also a passionate advocate for rural living and homesteading. Born in Longview, Texas, Miranda grew up on her parents’ ranch where she learned the importance of hard work and self-sufficiency.

As an adult, Miranda has continued to embrace these values by investing in her own farm in Tennessee called The Farm at Primm Springs. There, she raises chickens, pigs and cows while also growing vegetables and fruits to feed herself as well as her friends and family.

In addition to running her farm, Miranda has been vocal about supporting local farmers and promoting sustainable agriculture practices. She’s even started her own line of pet food made from locally sourced ingredients.

But it’s not just agriculture that excites Miranda; she’s also passionate about hunting and fishing. In fact, some of her most popular songs like “Gunpowder & Lead” speak to this love of the outdoors.

Beyond her hobbies and interests, however, Miranda is known for being open about personal struggles such as divorce, anxiety and depression. Through it all, she’s remained grounded by turning to nature for solace.

“I have always loved being outside,” she said in an interview with Garden & Gun magazine. “It’s therapy for me.”

Miranda’s dedication to rural living doesn’t stop there either. She founded MuttNation Foundation alongside mother Bev Lambert which aims at rescuing dogs across America from shelters or those who are homeless on the streets taking care of their medical needs until they find their forever home through adoption events organized by them.

Overall, Miranda Lambert embodies what it means to be a true homesteader: someone who works hard to live off the land while also giving back to their community through sustainable practices.
