Turkey Brine Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 gallon water
– 1 ½ cup kosher salt
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons black peppercorns
– 4 cloves garlic (minced)
– Fresh herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and sage

Instructions:

1) In a large pot over medium heat combine water, salt, sugar, garlic, pepper corns.
2) Bring mixture to boil stirring occasionally.
3) Once the salt and sugar have dissolved completely remove from heat; allow brine to cool down completely before adding turkey.
4) Add turkey into the cooled down brine making sure it’s fully submerged in liquid using a clean container or brining bag.
5) Add fresh herbs of your choice for added flavor.
6) Cover pot tightly with lid or plastic wrap then refrigerate overnight (12–24 hours).
7) After brining time is up remove turkey from solution rinse thoroughly under cold running water pat dry using paper towels before cooking.

Pork Brine Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 gallon water
– ¾ cup kosher salt
– ½ cup brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons black peppercorns
– Fresh herbs such as thyme and rosemary

Instructions:

1) Combine all ingredients in a large pot over medium heat.
2) Stir until the salt and sugar dissolve completely.
3) Remove from heat; allow brine to cool down completely before adding pork loin/ribs/chops etc.
4) Place pork into cooled down brine making sure it’s fully submerged in liquid using either a clean container or resealable plastic bag.
5) Add fresh herbs of your choice for added flavor (thyme works well).
6) Cover pot with lid or plastic wrap then refrigerate overnight (12–24 hours).
7 )After brining time is up remove pork from solution rinse thoroughly under cold running water pat dry using paper towels before cooking.

Beef Brine Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 gallon water
– 1 cup kosher salt
– ½ cup brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons black peppercorns
– Fresh herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and sage

Instructions:

1) Combine all ingredients in a large pot over medium heat.
2) Stir until the salt and sugar dissolve completely.
3) Remove from heat; allow brine to cool down completely before adding beef (chuck roast or brisket).
4) Place beef into cooled down brine making sure it’s fully submerged in liquid using either a clean container or resealable plastic bag.

7 )After brining time is up remove beef from solution rinse thoroughly under cold running water pat dry using paper towels before cooking.
