This temperature can be achieved by regularly turning the pile and ensuring it remains well-aerated.

By recycling these organic resources back into your soil through composting, you reduce reliance on synthetic fertilizers while improving soil health and fertility.

However, it’s important to exercise caution when using this compost on edible crops due to potential contamination risks from pathogens present in both animal manures and human excrement. To mitigate these risks, apply finished compost only to non-edible plants or allow a sufficient curing period before using it on food-producing areas of your garden.
